Llegamos al final de la serie.  Ante todo millones de gracias a todos los que me habéis seguido a lo largo de ella.  Gracias infinitas por vuestro tiempo y dedicación.  Para mi, ha sido una aventura y un reto hacerlo.  Hace meses que alguien me sugirió que lo hiciera, me dijo que era necesario explicar más a fondo por qué hacía lo que hacía.  Algo en mi se resistía: el miedo.  Y es el amor el que consigue sacarte de ahí y llevarte a dar el paso y sobre todo hacéroslo llegar.  Porque una cosa tiene el amor: se expande.

Para mi la vida es ese proceso: pasar del miedo al amor.  Pero para eso, tenemos que entender muy muy bien, qué es el amor.  Porque no lo sabemos!  Creemos que es lo que vemos en las películas románticas…!  Es muy fuerte!

El amor es algo digno de estudiarse.  Debería haber una asignatura en el colegio, incluso una carrera universitaria para estudiarlo, porque da para mucho…  Sólo sabiendo realmente lo que es, podemos entenderlo y de ahí apreciarlo, y practicarlo de verdad.

Se dice que Dios es amor.  Y lo malo es que no sabemos ni lo que es Dios ni lo que es amor.  No tenemos ni idea… en general.  O ideas muy limitadas.  Como de casi todo.  La vida, no nos da para saber de muchas cosas.  Elegimos una, nos especializamos en ella y dedicamos nuestra vida a ello.  Todo lo demás, lo vemos, sabemos un poco de que qué va, pero en realidad somos ignorantes. Necesitaríamos mucho más tiempo, paz y energía para saber de todo.  Pero sólo tomar conciencia de ello, saber que no sabemos nada del amor, y que podemos aprenderlo, dedicando un poco de tiempo cada día a su estudio, cambiaría mucho todo lo que pasa en este mundo.

Pasar de ver las cosas desde el miedo a verlas desde el amor es otra realidad.  No puedes expresarlo con palabras, porque es vivir, vivir en su máxima expresión.  Mientras vives, nada está terminado, no hay creencias, sólo experiencias, y eso es lo maravilloso de la vida.  De ahí la frase “The unfinished is beautiful”, (Lo inacabado es bello).  De ahí que queramos que lo que nos hace felices no acabe, que dure para siempre.

Así me planteé yo esta aventura de COZARLLADO.  Como algo vivo, creciente, experimental y experiencial.  Donde el amor esté lo más presente posible.

Estas tres piezas de marroquinería se hicieron con la intención de aprovechar los trozos de piel que sobraban al cortar algunas partes del bolso Sagesse. Así que se diseñaron adaptándonos a esas piezas sobrantes, dándome la oportunidad de crear una cartera, un estuche y un tarjetero.  Aparecen de nuevo las formas del Ce qui est, de manera sintetizada.  Jugando con la piel flor y el serraje, combinando sus texturas  y tonos.  Ahora sólo los hay en gris, ya que salieron de la producción del Sagesse gris.

The why of what it is 10.  From fear to love.   Small Leather Goods

We come to the end of the series. First of all, a million thanks to all of you who have followed me throughout it. Infinite thanks for your time and dedication. For me, it has been an adventure, a challenge to do it. Some months ago someone suggested me to do it.  He told me that I needed to explain more fully why I did what I did. Something in me was resisting: FEAR. And it is LOVE that manages to get you out of there and take you the next step, and above all, make it happen. Because love has one thing: it expands.

For me, life is that process: going from fear to love. But for that, we have to understand very very well what love is. Because we don’t know! We think it is what we see in romantic movies…! It is unbelievable…

Love is something worth studying. There should be a subject at school, even a university degree to study it, because it goes a long way … Only by really knowing what it is, can we understand it and hence appreciate it, and really practice it.

It is said that God is love. And the bad thing is that we don’t know what God is or what Love is. We have no idea … in general. Or very limited ideas. Life does not give us to know many things. We choose one, we specialize in it and we dedicate our lives to it. Everything else, we see it, we know a little what it is about, but in reality we are ignorant. We would need a lot more time, peace and energy to know everything. But just being aware of it, knowing that we know nothing about love, and that we can learn it, dedicating a little time each day to study it, would make a big change in this world.

Going from seeing things from fear to seeing them from love is another reality. You cannot put it into words, because it is «TO LIVE»; living at its best. As long as you live, nothing is finished, there are no beliefs, only experiences, and that is the wonderful thing about life. Hence the phrase from the campaign «Nothing is beaitiful if it’s completely finished.  The unfinished is beautiful».  Hence we want that what makes us happy does not end, that it lasts forever.

This is how I thought about COZARLLADO. As something alive, growing, experimental and experiential. Where love is as present as possible.

These three pieces of leather goods were made with the intention of taking advantage of the pieces of leather that were left over when cutting some parts of the Sagesse bag. They were designed to fit those leftover pieces. They gave me the opportunity to create a wallet, pencil case, and card holder, remembering the shape of the «Ce qui est»  in a synthesized way. Playing with grain leather and split leather, combining their textures and tones. Now available only in gray, since they came out of the production of the gray Sagesse.
